A short while ago, the image above leaked on the internet claiming to be the cover of the upcoming Lil Wayne album "Tha Carter IV." According to a number of reliable sources, it can now be confirmed that this is in fact the official cover.

The photo is evidently Lil Wayne in elementary school, updated with his more current look of facial piercings and tattoos. The winning combination of children, bow ties, caps and gowns and ridiculous facial tattoos is guaranteed to impress and excite Wayne fans worldwide.

This cover is picking up right where 2008's "Tha Carter III" left off. The record featured an even younger Lil Wayne with his trademark tattoos on his hands and face. The little tyke was even rocking some extravagant bling in the form of a huge diamond ring.

Given the evolution of the last two covers, what are we to expect from "Tha Carter V?" My guess is a Junior-High Wayne showing off even more "body art," sipping on a bottle Dom Perignon, and accompanied by a number of scantily clad women.

"Tha Carter IV" is set to be released via Young Money Entertainment on June 21st.
