Album Review: Alex Bloom “Blue Room”

Tiffany Greysen, contributor

“I Don’t Know You Anymore” was my favorite song.

If you love the scene in every rom-com where the two love interests start to fall for each other, feed each other cotton candy, and push each other into the ocean, then this song is for you. It could definitely be the soundtrack to a romantic film where the unlovable male hero is on his way to meet his love interest on a “date” but realizes their “date” is a misunderstanding and he’s really been invited over to watch her dog while she goes and humps the evil villain.

The other tracks are mostly the same song, they are mildly over-produced with too many tracks ruining the feel of the song’s intent. They have a pop-feel with a heavy use of minor notes.

“I Don’t Know You Anymore” is the only song I want to hear again.

Rating: 8 out of 12 cans of PBR!
